Dress code

What to Wear

Proper dancewear allows students to move safely and helps teachers see alignment and technique. Hair should be secured up and out of the face for all classes.

Kinderdance

Any-color leotard and tights. Bootie shorts and ballet skirts are optional.

Intro to Youth, Youth, Junior & Teen

Any-color leotard. Tights, shorts, skirts, and leggings are optional.

Hip Hop & Musical Theater

Comfortable clothing or a leotard that allows students to move freely.

Contemporary

Comfortable clothing or a leotard. Students dance barefoot.

Acro/Tumbling

Leotard with bootie shorts. No tights or shoes. Students participate barefoot, and clothing must allow instructors to safely spot skills.

Boys

Shorts or sweats with a T-shirt.

  • Tap: Black tie tap shoes
  • Jazz/Ballet: Black jazz boots
  • Hip Hop: Clean black sneakers reserved for class use only

No outside shoes are permitted in the classroom.

Annual Registration Fee

  • $40 for one dancer
  • $75 for families with two or more dancers

Sibling Discount

Families with two or more students enrolled receive 10% off the lowest tuition amount. Discount applies to tuition only and excludes camps and 8-week sessions.

Costume Fees

Fees vary by class and include costume(s) and accessories, a DE garment bag, tights when applicable, and applicable taxes.

Class FAQs

Where should a new dancer begin?

Start with your dancer’s age group. Our recreational dance classes are organized by age, while tumbling classes are based on skill level. Contact us if you need help finding the right class.

Does my dancer need previous experience?

No! Our recreational dance classes welcome dancers with varying levels of experience. Tumbling classes are skill-based so each student trains safely at the appropriate level.

Can we try more than one style?

Absolutely! Available styles vary by age, and dancers are welcome to explore more than one style.

Can my dancer try a class before enrolling?

Yes! We offer a free trial class so your dancer can experience the class before enrolling. Contact us to schedule a trial.

What if we join after the season has started?

Dancers may join classes after the season begins when space is available. Create an account to view current availability, or contact us for help finding the right class.

Do all classes perform in the recital?

Full-season recreational dance classes participate in the annual recital. Families may opt out using the recital opt-out form. Short-term programs, including 8-week sessions, do not participate.

Where do I see current class availability?

Our enrollment portal has the most up-to-date class schedules and availability.

When do classes start?

Full-season recreational classes begin September 8.

When is recital week?

Pictures and rehearsals are June 1, 2, and 3. Shows are June 4, 5, and 6. Recreational classes perform in one show.
