Thanks for making time to "attend" the meeting!

Optional Competition and Conventions:

• If you signed up for any optional competitions or conventions, they have been added to your dance account.

• Two people filled out the form but did not put a name, so please check the attached spreadsheet and ensure we have you listed and in the correct events.  

DMA Open Scholarships:

• If you would like to participate in the DMA Open Scholarships, November 8th-9th, please email the studio by Sunday, September 10th, at 10pm. 

• Cost is $50. 

• Petite and Junior division audition in ballet, tap, jazz, and acro. 

• Teen and Senior division audition in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, & acro. The auditions will be held at DE.

Production Costumes:

• Please bring production costumes and accessories (except the small hairpiece and earrings) to the studio. We want to fix any straps that need to be loosened and replace missing rhinestones while we have time to do so.

Class Absences:

• Go to your parent portal and mark your child absent for the classes she will be gone for. Please list a reason for their absence. We do not require an absent notification form anymore.

CALLING ALL DE TEAM PARENTS (ALL 210 OF YOU) - Maybe out of 210 adults, someone can help us with a couple "needs" that are vital to our team, routines, and dancers:

• Thank you to the 3 people who have stated they could help with props and be a part of this amazing group, but we need so many more to step up and commit to helping.  Email the studio if interested - this is a volunteer position.

• Thank you to those who in the past have helped with costume alterations. Our seamstress that we had lined up is no longer available so we are in desperate need.  Not just "sewing straps" but a person who is comfortable with sewing lycra, sequins, elastic, reconstructing costumes, etc.  Wage is negotiable.

Industry Night:

• Next Wednesday

• Wear anything easy to move in

Addition:

• You will receive your October statement today.

• Other than your normal bundled monthly tuition, you will see 1-3 extra charges:

  • Competition jacket - all dancers have this charge:

    • $125 for a jacket with no name on the front

    • $135 for a jacket with name on the front

  • Bag - only those who ordered one:

    • $90

  • Optional convention / competition - only those who signed up:

    • Fees vary

Those who sign up to participate in the DMA scholarship event will see the fee on their November statement.
