Our second week is complete (besides those having choreo this weekend), and we think it was a great one!

     Jackets: 

Cost - $125 (plus $10 if you added your name)

Due October 1st with your normal monthly amount

Pictures from the photoshoot at the intensives:

This photoshoot was never intended for the "purchase" of any pictures besides a few Miss Erin was going to purchase for advertising. Because of this, no one was charged for any pictures in the intensive fee as it was not the plan to give any, nor was the photographer paid to edit or send any pictures except for the 15 chosen ones for advertising.

This was for the experience of what it was like to do a moving photoshoot. That's all.....the experience.

After Erin spoke with the photographer, Miss Mari agreed to edit a few pictures for each dancer who attended.  She worked with what she had and chose the best few from each dancer out of the shots that she took to "give the dancers the experience."

We are very grateful that she did this without asking for more money.

I understand that some of you are not happy with your photos - that's ok - it was free and the dancers got the experience while having a great time.

She is still working on a few, and we will get them out as soon as they are completed. She is a very busy photographer, and obviously, these edits she is doing for free come second to her livelihood of those huge shoots that she does.

     MOC-D's:

This is such a helpful tool for questions to other parents. For example.....the thread of what easy meals to send with your dancer - PERFECT example of what this private group is for.  Thoughts on lodging at nationals...PERFECT example. I have 5 Leo's for $5 each if anyone is interested.....PERFECT example.

What it is not is a place to discuss an issue, an irritation, or a specific concern (one that is not for the entire team to see and needs to be discussed with Erin).

Please remember that parents, dancers, and grandparents are allowed to be a part of this facebook group.  One comment or post could truly cause hurt feelings, anger, or resentment within a team. 

Thank you for not overstepping the purpose of MOC-Ds. We feel this is an amazing tool for parents to help each other out.

     Drop-off and Pick-up:

Please review the attachment regarding the traffic flow for drop-off and pick-up.

This is important for traffic flow and safety.

     Class Template: 

Aimee Hurska made a template to put your dancer's schedule in so you can print it out. She has had several people ask for it, so we are attaching it.

It is in Word so you can edit it.

     Solo Costumes:

If you want to sell your solo costume from a past year, post the picture on MOC-D's, with your price. 

If anyone likes one and wants their choreographer to consider it for their routine this year, let your choreographer know ASAP. 

This is a great way to save some money and make some money. 

If selling, the studio will pay you for your costume. 

If purchasing, the studio will keep track of the cost and anything under budget will be given as a credit when final costume bills are sent in February.
